Description
Located on a hill south of Florence, Villa Tavernuzze is a medieval farmhouse: the building was in poor condition in the late fifties, when it was bought by an Italian-Dutch young couple, who decided to settle here. A recent restoration has given the villa the original atmosphere with bright spaces and cozy rooms;
It offers a sleeping area on the first floor with 5 bedrooms (3 double and 2 twin) and 3 bathrooms + 1 bathroom.
Two of the bedrooms are connected as a family room (the second room is reached through the first room). The third bedroom has beamed ceilings and has a large bathroom with bath and shower.
There are 2 living rooms, both with fireplaces, one of them really typical large country with a fireplace sitting in the space ideal for cooking chestnuts during the fall.
A large dining room overlooking the garden is connected to the other living room. Ideal to rest a little after lunch :).
The cozy and fully equipped kitchen is the face of the courtyard to the wide paved outdoor area, which is an ideal playground for children or adults, as a dance floor and gives access to the dining table, the orchard and olive grove and the garden.
Next to the courtyard is the meadow with a swimming pool and sun loungers. This is the perfect place to rest after a day of wandering through beautiful nearby Florence.
